Thank you for shopping at Ashok Chakra Nursery! We understand that sometimes plants may not thrive due to unforeseen circumstances. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, we are here to help. This policy outlines the conditions under which you can return or exchange your plants.
Return & Exchange Window:
We accept returns and exchanges within 2 days of the delivery date. All return requests must be submitted within this timeframe.
Eligible Reasons for Return/Exchange:
We will gladly accept returns or exchanges for the following reasons:
Damaged Plants: If your plants arrive damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage for verification purposes. We need a proper unedited video while opening the package from beginning to end and any damages have to be shown in the video itself to initiate an exchange or return otherwise we can’t go with the further process.
Dead Plants on Arrival: If a plant arrives dead upon delivery, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will require photos of the dead plant for verification purposes.
Not as Described: If you receive a plant that is not as described on our website, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Non-Returnable/Exchangeable Items:
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for the following:
Plants that have been planted in the ground or a pot.
Plants that show signs of neglect or improper care after delivery.
Plants purchased during a sale or clearance event (unless the plant is damaged, dead on arrival, or not as described).
Request Approval: In your email, please specify the reason for your return/exchange, include your order number, and attach any photos required for verification (damaged plants or dead plants on arrival). We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
Return Shipping: If your return is approved, you will be responsible for securely packaging the plant(s) in its original packaging (or similar appropriate packaging) and returning it to the address we provide. You will also be responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Return Shipment: Once you receive the return instructions, please ship the plant(s) back to us within 7 days. We recommend using a trackable shipping service with proper insulation to ensure the plants arrive safely.
Processing: Upon receiving your returned plant(s), we will inspect them to ensure they meet the return/exchange criteria.
Refund/Exchange: If your return is approved, you will receive a full refund (minus original shipping cost) to your original payment method within 5 business days. For exchanges, we will ship the replacement plant(s) to you once the return is processed.
Important Notes:
We reserve the right to deny return or exchange requests that do not comply with our return policy.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to damaged or incorrect plants sent by us, or dead plants on arrival.
You are responsible for ensuring the safe return of the plant(s) to us. We recommend using a trackable shipping service with proper insulation, especially for delicate plants.
Since our delivery timeline is 10 business days, we kindly ask that you consider the health of the plants before planting them. If there are any issues, please contact us within the 2 days return window.
